2018 European Singing Contest

The 2018 European Singing Contest (European Olympiad) finals is undoubtedly an epic event. A total of 26 countries participated in the finals. Eventually Israel Netta became the 63rd Europa Champion with a dramatic score of 529 points. (Unexpected!!)

This year's Ou Ge stage design was inspired by the hull. The design did not use LED screens, pure lighting effects. In order to make the stage look less lonely, the contestants used many stage props during the performance.

The Ukrainian player MELOVIN uses a piano that burns flames. The top of the piano is hollowed out to accommodate one person, with mechanical means to perform.

I had to admire the props conversion team of the Europa League. There were 30 staff members involved in the prop conversion process. They had to evacuate the props on the stage for the short time of 35 seconds.
